What started off as a how bad could this be video, Back from Hell actually turned out to be decent.  While it's nowhere near as scary as some of the other demon possession movies it manages to find it's own way and be creepy

Cases HK horror movie review

In the movie The Cases they had a really interesting premise.  Let's go around Asian to film the supernatural.  The problem is there wasn't really a story to hook you in and in some cases the scary stuff just wasn't scary.  Most of the time it just wasn't even suspense.  They did try to make some of the curses relevant but giving you a side story as to why someone would use it but in most cases the story wasn't that great.  The prostitute one though I could see someone use on people.

my friend and part time Panda Cubed member Tifftaro started to do this awesome series on Youtube where she is playing a scary game each day until Halloween.  Now if I know Tifftaro she gets scared easy so I'm hoping for great things from this series.  I would comment on her video and give her suggestions on which game she should play next.  I have already demanded Slender so we'll see if she is brave enough to play it.

Darkscares Haunted House 2012

I've heard a lot of mixed things about Darkscares.  Some good some bad and we figured the only way we were going to find out is if we go there to see for ourselves.  While we thought it didn't have the scares we would have liked we were amazed at how well they started this house.  Without giving too much away Darkscares is based on a haunted hotel theme.  When you enter the maze you are greeted by a clerk in a hotel lobby.  We stood there in awe at how well it was designed.  The actor running the front desk was amazing.  He played his part perfectly and really got us excited to go in.  While it is harder to scare us I could see were people would get scared.  We heard the screams so we know the actors were doing their jobs.

Darkscares is also one of the more affordable haunts at $15 to get in.  While it is on the inexpensive side the actors really put forth a good effort to scare you.  I think this is one will surprise you.

The Original AZ Scream Park 2012 review

I've heard a lot about how good the AZ Scream Park was so I decided it was time to check it out. Fuu had visited the park a couple years ago and had also said good things about it. The haunted house was divided into four different attractions so you get a lot for your money. I liked how they mixed up their attractions with some being a traditional house and others outside with no ceiling.  After visiting the Gates of Hell in Vegas I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Horror High house allowed the actors to touch you.  Unfortunately they didn't do a good job with that.  It seemed like they were either afraid or didn't quite know what to do with it.  I think your experience may change as we get closer to the end of the season and if they continue this I'm hoping next year will be better.

Slaughterhouse Haunted House Tucson AZ 2012 review

After looking at their webpage I knew this was one that NEEDED to be seen.  I guess you can say I've started to become a haunted house extreme junky.  What appealed to me the most is one of their houses is labeled EXTREME!  Since we had nothing to do last weekend I decided to drag Fuu down with me to Tucson to visit this house.

Before you watch the reviews I have a disclaimer.  When we went they did not have any line control and it was literally a line of people walking through the haunts with no spacing.  While some people screamed for the most part people did not look like they were that scared.  The exception was City Meats where the people around us went through the house with the safety sign up so they were not touched.  It's highly possible that if you went on an off night with less people your experience could change.  Also I would recommend be brave and do not use the safety sign through City Meats.  It will change your experience.  They are not supposed to do anything to hurt you but when you see the make up you will suddenly forget that.

Trilogy of Terror: Gates of Hell Las Vegas 2012

We took a trip to Vegas and decided that we had to stop at one of their local haunted houses.  Having a lot to choose from we decided to go with Trilogy of Terror: Gates of Hell solely based on reviews that we read online.  One important thing to note about this haunted house is one of the houses is 18+ only.  At first we really weren't worried about it.  We knew they could touch us but we figured what was the worst they could do.  After experiencing the first house (Castle Vampyre) we suddenly got worried about what exactly they were going to do to us in the Gates of Hell.  This was one of the few times we ever got worried.  These three houses were also the first time on our quest that Fuu actually got a little scared (I'm being nice in case she reads this).  I don't want to ruin much but what I can tell you is this.  They attack you from all sides and they will chase you out of each house.  By far this is the best haunted house we have been to so far.

Jack and Jill's Haunted Hill 2012

One of the best experiences we had so far at a local haunted house was from Jack and Jill's Haunted Hill.  At first we were skeptical because it was only $10, we wondered how good can it be if it's so cheap.  Based on some of the reviews we read we figured we should give this place a try.  I can say we were not disappointed at all.  We later found out the reason why it's so cheap is they are trying to make a haunted house more affordable for their guests.  While they don't have tons of money to put into the props like other places what they do have is passion to show you a great time.  Being one of the few local houses that have an actual theme, they invite you down a mine shaft to find out the fate of Jack and Jill. 

The first time we went we were at the back and were not able to see a lot of the special touches.  Later we went back on an off night and it was worth the trip.  This is one haunted house you really need to see from the front!

The Chambers of Fear Haunted House Review 2012

After our trip to the Panic Park we were shaken and lost hope in finding a good haunted house.  We heard a lot of good things about The Chambers of Fear.   People where saying this was scarier then the 13th Floor so we were decided this is our next stop.  While it is pretty difficult for a haunted house to scare us, the group in front of us did have one of their members run in terror before they went into the house.  She was in the room where you get the final do not touch speech and it was too much for her and she ran.

The Panic Park Haunted House review 2012

We heard a new Haunted Park was opening called The Panic Park.  Excited to visit a new park we decided to go on opening night.  This turned out to be a mixed blessing.  On one hand we had the park to ourselves on the other it was lacking in actors and a couple of the attractions where closed.  While we didn't care that that children's haunted attraction was closed we were disappointed to see that the train your zombie was also closed.  Zombie paintball turned out to be a complete disappointment.  There was only one zombie, he shuffled back and forth and he did not look like he was having fun.  Granted I don't think I would have fun getting shot at by paintball guns.

13th Floor Arizona review 2012

This year we decided to go on a quest to find the best haunted house in Arizona.  Remembering that we had an amazing time at the 13th Floor last year we decided this would be our first stop.  Looking back we are glad we started here because the lines are starting to get really long.  We originally went at the beginning of the haunted house season so there was maybe a 15-30 minute wait at most.
